Just about any small graphic can be engraved on a brick. One very neat thing to do is to have your signature engraved on a brick to sign your MOC's. There is usually a one time charge for creating the file, but once done. Send me a scanned copy of your signature and I can usually create a great way to identify your creations. Sign naturally and scan at maximum resolution.
I wish I had a signature that looked that good. This is the signature of master builder and LEGO sculptor Nathan Sawaya. He does incredible work!
Almost any graphic can be engraved on bricks. But normally the simpler the better. Due to the fact that individual bricks are but .38 inches tall, if one wants a graphic on a single brick, it needs to be simple. Engraving cannot produce resolutions that can be achieved with printing and decal processes but what it does do is to create a permanent image and a very different look than printed stickers or decals. If the image to be engraved is more complicated than the small size of the brick allows, one can stack them together and engrave the image over multiple bricks. Send me email concerning any ideas you want to discuss.
Practically all images have to be severely tweaked to engrave at the small sizes dictated by the size of the brick. an .eps or .ai or .wmf file are preferable, but even those usually have to be modified. Pricing: Email me about pricing --not really as bad as you might think. And if enough of item ordered and file is relatively simple, set up fee can be reduced or eliminated.
